APAC Supply Chain Director

As the Asia Pacific Supply Chain Director, this role leads the implementation of the regional supply plan to deliver the business strategy under the direction of the Global Supply Chain Director.

The Primary Responsibilities include:

Lead the supply chain by effectively communicating the business strategy and demonstrating how the strategy is enabled by the supply chain plans.
Accountable for APAC supply/demand balances in coordination with all of the regions
Accountable for setting and delivering APAC supply chain and business targets including inventory, supply chain cost to serve, transactional service standards, service levels and service quality.
Work closely with leveraged Shared Services (in particular supply chain and procurement) to ensure the business requirements are most effectively managed at lowest cost.
Leads the APAC regional supply chain work processes: Sales & Operations Planning, Order to Cash, Material Flow etc.
Leads the adherence of Responsible Care, EH&S, Legal and Distribution Risk Reviews for the Supply Chain function in APAC
Oversees Order Control process on behalf of Supply Chain and the business for the region
Owns inventory management, slow moving inventory and monthly inventory estimates
Manages, communicates and implements product supply contingency plans for unplanned events such as: labor strikes, raw material shortages, manufacturing failures, natural disasters etc.
All Supply Chain and Order Fulfillment processes are in scope in their "Supply Chain Service Quality aspects" including: Order Fulfillment / Order to Cash, Forecasting / Planning, Logistics / Site Logistics.

Qualifications - External
Bachelor Degree required. Degree in a discipline demonstrating logical thinking or computational skills (Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Mathematics and certain sciences).
Minimum of 10 years work experience, typically including experience in Manufacturing, Asset Management or Supply Chain operations.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Supply Planning role.
