1. Management and reporting of the tax positions of legal entities in China.
2. Support tax compliance manager in monthly reviews of cash tax of legal entities in China.
3. Support tax compliance manager in quarterly reviews of direct tax provisioning of legal entities in China.
4. Responsible for preparing annual return to provision calculations of legal entities in China.
5. Assist tax compliance manager with internal and external stakeholder coordination in handling quarterly and annual income tax compliance work of legal entities in China.
6. Assist tax compliance manager with local finance team coordination in handling annual income tax filing post administrations and ad hoc direct tax compliance query raised by tax authorities in relation to direct tax issues.
7. Assist tax compliance manager with review process of withholding tax calculations and withholding tax returns in relation to the remittance of dividends and royalties by legal entities in China entities to overseas group companies.
8. Provide solid support in offering tax compliance related comments and advice on business projects and queries.
9. Perform necessary tax research of tax rules/regulations, local practice in China on a case by case basis.

skills and experience required.

1. Minimum 3 4 years of relevant working experience in retail or relevant industry is preferred.
2. Background with big 4 or MNCs is preferred.
3. Strong working knowledge of tax accounting and direct tax compliance area is a must.
4. Previous experience of with inter company cross border business transactions and tax audits in China would be a plus.
5. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is an absolute must.
6. Experience with tax and finance related software packages.
