Purpose of the jobResponsible for the leadership, management and coordination of activities within the assigned territory to deliver profitable, high quality products and services, best in class customer service standards and achieving the company's overall business plans and strategies.Main tasks and responsibilities1.To develop, gain acceptance for, and implement growth plans which deliver increased revenues and profitability through strengthened market penetration and service differentiation, the achievement of which will support annual budgets & the three year plan2.Pro-actively identify and increase the customer base, provide leadership for key accounts and sustain customer relationship3.Proactively support and locally drive Sales activities 4.Provide commercial focus to the business which ensures volumes and margins are maximized and costs controlled5.Full Profit & Loss responsibility. Explicit accountability for order intake, sales, profit and ONCF targets6.Create a focus on results by setting KPIs, targets and directing resources and performance to fulfil sub-region, regional and global plans7.Compile, propose and gain acceptance for annual operating budget8.Prepare monthly performance reports as required9.Proactively work with regional function heads (Sales, PPC, Operations and Engineering), together with group functions (HR, Finance & IT) to achieve annual and strategic targets10.Mentor, direct, motivate and supervise all team members to ensure high levels of performance are attained11.Create a learning environment with development opportunities for talented people12.Actively support and participate in cross-selling of RES products in conjunction with Sales, EMS and TS responsible persons as appropriate13.Overall responsibility for leadership of Health, Safety and Environmental issues, developing safety culture and behaviours and reducing Cost of Non-Conformance14.Conduct monthly review of all non-conformance reports to identify trends and problems associated with specified product range. Accountability for product quality and ensure compliance with relevant company standards and accreditations. 15.To continuously lead and drive improvements to our key customer metrics of TCT, OCT and OTD as enablers for growth16.Optimize processes to drive operational efficiencies in all aspects of the sub-region and in conjunction with regional plans and processes17.Act as a role-model for compliance, ensuring appropriate processes and controls are in place and followed to meet the highest ethical standards and to adhere to Company regulations18.Ensure compliance in all relevant Company and legal requirements19.All other duties as may be determined by the Company20.Proactively engage, support and lead implementation of company initiatives designed to promote a culture of safe working, environmental protection and continual improvement.
