Responsibilities:
- Develop and release equipment technical solutions according to quality, cost and time by leading equipment design, verification and release activities. Identify new technical innovation/opportunities in system to create or improve quality, functionality and customer preference.
- Milestone reporting, project documentation and release procedures according to Process Manual.
- Assurance of agreed qualification processes (SQM and IAM). Ensure equipment technical solution fulfills product/technology requirement.
- Facilitate exchange of information, ideas, best practices, learnings, and other feedback between various functions. Collaborate with Cluster AP, operations and other cross function on project follow-up and promote design commercialization.
- Ensure new technology/design/process are properly documented for IP filing and/or protection. Securing legal and environmental compliance of equipment and process developments (local and global requirements).
- Drive a step-change in quality and product cost optimization.
- Review and assess team performance on a regular basis, cross check with project leader to gain objective and comprehensive view on the competence and capabilities of team members. Develop career and capability growth of the R&D organization in Equipment Technology.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Engineering or related field
- 10 years’ experience in Mechanical Design and Project Management
- Open and clear communication, strong execution capability, good team player
- Good analytical skills and troubleshooting capability, good project management experience
- Fluent in spoken and written English
