Randstad Greater China has released the new Randstad Workmonitor 1H 2022 report to share the latest talent insights. In this edition, we focus on China’s workforce expectations on learning and development.
Here are some key highlights from the report:
- 98% in mainland China and 93% in HKSAR want learning & development opportunities.
- 49% in mainland China said their company has increased such opportunities during the past 12 months while only 15% in HKSAR said so.
- The top 3 types of L&D opportunities respondents from mainland China and HK SAR are interested in.

The Randstad Workmonitor survey highlights the greatest concerns and challenges candidates are facing in the employment market. The Randstad Workmonitor 2022 1H survey was conducted between 21 February 2022 and 13 March 2022 with 2,000 locally-based respondents in mainland China and HKSAR who are employed and aged between 18 and 67 years old.
