Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement logistics strategies to meet business objectives and customer service levels.
•Oversee the day-to-day operations of the logistics department, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods from suppliers to customers.

•Organize, store and monitor the distribution of goods. Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
•Strategically plan and manage transportation, warehousing, inventory control, order fulfillment processes (order picking and packing), and customer services.
•Lead a department, make business decisions independently and be accountable for the profit and loss of the department.
•Manage internal assets and manpower - Manage logistics team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
Freight Business Resources:
•Maintain, develop and optimize transportation networks, including selection of carriers and negotiation of rates. Maintain relationships with vendors, carriers, freight forwarders and port authorities to provide competitive shipping solutions to customers.
•Manage and review freight operational policies, standards and procedures in accordance to freight business and customers' needs, including implementation of freight solutions.
•Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, exporters/importers and consumers.
•Manage performance of logistics partners to ensure compliance and alignment with customer requirements and contractual obligations.
•Manage supplier ranking or customer priority system to ensure strategic business is protected during periods of capacity shortage.
•Stay informed about industry trends and new technologies that can enhance logistics operations. on adoption of the latest technological innovations.
•Resolve any arising problems or complaints, any escalated incidents and crisis arising from day-to-day operations.
Improve Business Process:
•Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, order accuracy, transport costs and efficiency.
•Prepare and analyze logistics reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
•Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
•Drive solutions to improve business processes.
•Build a culture of business process improvements that extend beyond project life cycle.
•Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, ISO requirements and company policies. Review changes in compliance/tariff/rate/cost/quotation requirements and eligibility to manage impact on compliance operations.
•Drive corporate social responsibility policies for logistics operations, such as environmental protection policies and procedures.
Requirements and skills:
•BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
•Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager/Department Leader, and track record of improving logistics processes and cost control
•Record of successful supply chain management
•Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
•Proficient in standard logistics software
•Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
•Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
•Resourcefully and analytically manage resources to obtain buy-in from internal and external stakeholders
•Language: fluent in spoken and written English
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree; supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
•5+ years of experience in supply chain management; Beverages, Wine & Spirits, Fresh Products, or Cosmetic related industry preferred.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Excellent communication and negotiation skills
•Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
•Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems
•Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices
•Strong leadership and team management skills.
