Job Description:
Responsible for overall HR-related work for all entities within China and to coordinate policies and procedures with Sigma Vietnam entity
Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with the overall business strategy and create greater cohesiveness between the two Sigma entities within China
•Supervise HR staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Foster a team-oriented culture focused on results.
•Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates at all levels within the organization. Oversee the entire recruitment process, from job postings to interviewing and hiring.
•Manage payroll, benefits, and compensation programs. Conduct regular salary reviews and ensure competitiveness in the market.
•Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
•Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs, Encourage continuous professional development and education.
•Foster a positive working environment. Address employee grievances and resolve workplace conflicts. Ensure compliance with labor laws and best practices.
•Work closely with other departments to understand their HR requirements and ensure their success. Be responsive to their requests
•Provide HR-related analytics that support management decision making. Proactive engage with leadership and department management to determine changes to HR policies as needed
•Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations. Stay updated on legislative changes that affect HR.
•Maintain HR records and prepare reports related to employee data, HR metrics, and compliance. Utilize Sigma ERP system to maximize efficiency in record maintenance
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in HR Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
3. People oriented and results driven
4. Clear demonstration of analytical mind and ability to track and present HR metrics to company leadership
5. Ability to develop and implement key HR strategies across Sigma’s China entities and work closely with Sigma Vietnam HR team to ensure consistency in policies
6. Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
7. Strong English skills (written and spoken)
8. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
9. In-depth knowledge of labor law
10. Experience with ISO9001 & SA8000
11. Resources in Manufacture Direct Labor
