• Reporting to the CEO of APAC, the MD China is responsible for developing and executing the company’s business strategies in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders.
• Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are followed at all times.
• A natural leader with excellent leadership skills, the MD China is a strong communicator and ones who is able to maintain trusted relationships with shareholders, business partners and authorities.

• Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of executives providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance.
• Deliver sustainable profit as well as market share growth in the Chinese market.
• Responsible for managing large team of professionals; developing and nurturing multiple key client relationships with customers complemented by superior customer service.
• Maintain a high level of customer involvement and is responsible for establishing the company as the global leader in this segment.
• Define and lead new segment strategies and prioritize commercial and marketing transformation activities accordingly.
• Act as point of contact for the Chinese legal entity representing all company Businesses.
• Co-represent the Chinese legal entity regarding any legal / tax/audit issues
• Managed in accordance with corporate guidelines decisions regarding the Chinese legal entity.
• Co-represent China in front of Chinese authorities and audits.
• Responsible for the local P&L and EBIT
skills and experience required.
• Proven experience as Managing Director or other managerial position with 15 years or more experience in management in an international business setting
• A natural leader who inspires and motivates those around them.

• Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans.
• Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the company.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance

• BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA preferred.
