Job Responsibility:
- Leverages a high level of project management skills on supply chain related outsourcing, insourcing, VA/VE, supplier resourcing, large cost out initiatives and integration projects.
- Identify the project scope, objectives, schedule planning and new part qualification progress with category managers to build a healthy project pipeline for annual cost save goals by category and business unit.
- Responsible for assembling project team globally with category managers. Work with category managers to identify individual responsibilities, appropriate resources needed and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Acts as liaison between RRX APAC plants and enterprise sourcing team. Review the sourcing cost-out target attainability and new project pipeline with plants on a regular basis. Be a major window to identify any potential gaps to meet AOP cost save target and initiate new potential projects working with category managers and plant procurement managers.
- Implement robust communication strategies to report on program status, communicates critical issues to external and internal customers. Maintain a consistent way on project reporting-out, documentation, execution processes in line with regional supply chain management requirement.
- Identify the risks in terms of project execution from the pipeline management perspective and escalate the potential impact with mitigation plans. Demonstrate managerial courage and leadership to challenge project priorities, resource allocation and escalate project obstacles promptly based on 80/20 principles.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or mechanical design;
- Proven track record of 5~7 years of project management or relevant experience in a manufacturing company, (project schedule, planning & execution);
- Good presentation, verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in English.
- Demonstrated ability to drive productivity and compliance throughout a complex organization.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate, interact, and influence at all levels of the organization to drive results.
