Lead the development and execution of national trade marketing strategies to drive brand visibility, distributor engagement, and sales growth across China. Strategy Development & Execution
- Design and implement national trade marketing plans aligned with brand objectives, focusing on distributor/channel partner engagement (e.g., hypermarkets, convenience stores, e-commerce platforms).
- Develop promotional campaigns, POS materials, and trade incentives to maximize product visibility and shelf share.
Data-Driven Market Optimization
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
-Collaborate with the sales team to set region-specific KPIs (e.g., sell-in/sell-out rates, ROI on trade spend) and ensure executional excellence.
Budget & Resource Management
- Manage the annual trade marketing budget (allocations, ROI tracking), ensuring cost-effective deployment of resources across campaigns and channels.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Sales, Brand Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to align trade activities with product launches, inventory planning, and seasonal promotions.
- Train and empower regional sales teams on trade marketing tools and strategies.
Channel & Partner Relationship Building
- Strengthen relationships with key distributors and retailers, negotiating trade terms and co-developing joint business plans (JBPs).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields. MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of trade marketing experience in FMCG/Food & Beverage, with at least 2 years in a national/regional management role.
- Expertise in trade spend optimization, channel strategy, and promotional ROI analysis.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (Excel, Tableau, Nielsen/IRI) and CRM systems.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing distributor/retailer partnerships.
- Familiarity with omnichannel trade marketing (traditional + e-commerce).
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
