This role is going to report to Vice President of Sales & Marketing based oversees; with strong support with China Team
about the job.
- Responsible for delivering on all Commercial Objectives through implementing and executing agreed strategic commercial Plans. (Sales Rev, Sales Vol, Market Spend)
- Ownership of all in Market delivery from planning through to sign off and last mile execution.
- Responsible for detailed reporting to line within agreed time frames
- Selection and management of distributors
- Building and developing relationships with key stakeholders and strategic partners to foster category, brand, product and ingredient awareness in market
- Through market insights, customer engagement and consumer research develop and fine tune the sales strategy and NPD pipeline recommendations for branded products and ingredients
- Generate awareness of the health benefit to maximize sales opportunities
- Demonstrate the highest possible standards of ethical behavior in line with company’s culture and values
skills and experience required.
- Advanced written and spoken English and fluent Mandarin Chinese speaker, reader
- and writer.
- Strong experience in at least one of the following:
- Distribution Management
- Brand Marketing/Product Management/Mum and baby nutitrional products/FMCG/Online business
- Will potentially have strong links with HQ business, or relevant FMCG industry producer country.
- should have a minimum of three years management experience;
- Possesses strong business acumen and judgement. Able to seek out, then seize an opportunity.
- Has strong inter-personal, influencing and negotiating skills; can speak to an audience, and present a brand and product convincingly.
- Is self-sufficient, and able to work un-supervised. A self-starter who is agile and resiliant.
- Has a “teamwork” orientation; can work closely with the oversees support team and also with local customers and partners
- Very mature; exhibits a high degree of Honesty, Integrity, Loyalty and Responsibility
- Cross cultural empathy, appreciation of cultural nuance, and EQ.

- Confidence in commenting on language in relation to brand – tone, word selection, flow etc – or providing feedback to the clients with regard to translations and Chinese market material delivered by third parties. (A trusted “second eye”)
- Under-graduate degree required, and a relevant post-graduate degree preferred, but not obligatory.
