- Analyze and Recommend: Evaluate existing data warehouse systems and suggest upgrades and improvements.
- Development and Installation: Oversee the development and installation of data warehouse systems.
- Testing and Troubleshooting: Perform tests, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality assurance.
- Safety and Data Recovery: Implement safety procedures and data recovery plans.
- Documentation: Develop user manuals, policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments and professionals in data warehouse system development.
- Maintenance and Upgrades: Ensure installations, maintenance, and upgrades are on schedule and meet client specifications.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor data warehouse system performance, identify and solve problems, and ensure optimal operation.
- System Interfaces: Manage data warehouse system interfaces for stability and security.
- Change Control: Handle data warehouse system change control processes, including assessing change requests, developing plans, testing, and releasing changes.
- Data Analysis & Modeling:
- Develop predictive models (e.g., attendance forecasting, ride wait times, seasonal demand).
- Analyze guest behavior data (ticketing, app usage, spending patterns) to drive personalized marketing.
- Optimize staffing, inventory, and ride maintenance schedules using statistical methods.
- Reporting & Visualization:
- Create dynamic dashboards (Tableau/Power BI) for real-time KPIs: crowd density, revenue, customer satisfaction.
- Automate reports for stakeholders to monitor operational efficiency.
- Database Management:
- Query and manage large datasets (SQL, Python/R) from POS systems, IoT sensors, and CDP/CRM platforms.
- Ensure data integrity across platforms
- Collaboration:
- Partner with IT vendors to integrate analytics tools into park apps and IoT devices.
- Support A/B testing for digital campaigns and in-park promotions.

- Education: Degree in computer science or IT; business administration courses or degree is advantageous.
- Certification: Relevant certifications may be required.
- Experience:
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in hospitality or theme park industry.
- At least 1 years of experience in Ticketing, PMS, Retail, F&B, and Supply Chain system maintenance/operation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Detail-oriented, able to maintain accurate system documentation, manage time productively, and keep records of activities.
- Data Warehouse Skills:
- Familiar with data warehouse architecture and design principles.
- Proficient in SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
- Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend).
- Capable of data modeling and data analysis.
- Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud data warehouse solutions (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery).
- PostgreSQL: Proficient in managing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases.
- Power BI: Skilled in using Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Data Governance: Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Data Security: Knowledge of data security and privacy protection, able to implement and maintain data security measures.
- Performance Optimization: Capable of optimizing data warehouse performance, including index optimization, query optimization, and storage optimization.
- Automation: Skilled in using scripts and automation tools (e.g., Python, Shell scripts) for data warehouse management and maintenance.
