We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Tech Lead (DTL) to join our dynamic team. The Data Tech Lead will play a pivotal role in designing and leading the implementation of data products (DP) while fostering a data mesh culture across the organization. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership, and exceptional communication skills to collaborate with global stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Data Product Design: Design end-to-end data products (DP) by understanding use cases in Jira, breaking them into measurable KPIs, and identifying the required data.
• Team Leadership: Lead and guide the team by clearly communicating priorities, use cases, and deliverables for data product development. Act as a bridge between project management and technical execution, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with global domain stakeholders to review and approve data product designs and acculturate stakeholders and vendors to the data mesh philosophy, ensuring alignment and adoption across teams.
• Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and review data product designs without direct involvement in development, and ensure designs adhere to data architecture principles and are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business goals.

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, ideally from Retail and/or Consumer goods background
• At least a bachelor’s or equivalent degree in a relevant area of study (Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics or a related field of study) from a top university
• Strong understanding of data mesh principles and the ability to promote a data mesh culture.
• Proficiency in data modeling, infrastructure, and big data warehouse technologies (e.g., Alicloud).
• Knowledge of data architecture principles and governance frameworks.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams, including vendor developers.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to maintain strong relationships with global stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin, written and spoken
