Summary: As the Sales Manager, Key Accounts, he/she is expected to spearhead the entry of the company's seasoning Solutions in the Key Food Producers in China, and maintain the current key account sales in China. Responsible for reach the sales target for Key Account Customers. He/she would drive growth and expansion of the business in assigned region or customers to align with the overall growth strategy put forward by the company. He / She will be responsible for providing ongoing support to the Key Accounts; Implement business strategies to achieve profitable business relationships and identify new revenue opportunities with major accounts.
- Maintain the existing business of Key Account Customers.
- Scope out and identify potential Key Account customers in the assigned market in China.
- Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with major accounts to promote brand awareness and profitable business relationships.
- Enter into joint development projects by scoping out new product developments and innovations in Key Account companies.
- Collect relevant Project Briefs from KA to share with the technical/application team in order to assess technical feasibility, winnability and profitability of projects
- Build strong rapport with key stake-holders at the customer’s end (R&D, Marketing, Procurement, etc.)
- Communicate effectively, both externally an internally to drive projects to fruition and convert it to revenue streams
- Initiate the development of New Products in line with the requirements of the market – Based on sound market research.
- Participate in Conferences, Expos and Exhibitions to promote the business and gather market information
- Monitor and report sales data to generate inputs for strategic planning.
- Effectively execute and manage the process of customer acquisition (Potential Client Base -> Lead -> Opportunity -> Client Interest -> Propositioning -> Sample Approvals -> Pilot Trials ->Trial Orders -> Regular Revenue Stream)
- Carrying on the requested reports and ad hoc assignments allocated by the Sales Director, China and Sales Head, Key Account Synthite China.
skills and experience required.
- Bachelor degrees or above.
- 3 - 5 years working experience, Key Account Management in related industries.
- Chinese can be used as working language, English professional level is a plus.
