3. To supervise Contractors to execute site works according to code requirements and the approved Health, Safety and Security Plans, and to alert Contractors to promptly rectify if safety risks or non-compliances are being identified
4. To monitor site progress and Contractors’ resources to warrant adherence to the approved project programme
5. To assist in the liaison with all relevant government departments and authorities to secure all necessary approvals/permits and warrant smooth execution of construction works
6. To coordinate on the timely submissions and approvals for all related construction documentations including but not limited to shop drawings, calculations, method statements, material samples, etc.
7. To take site records on quality, safety, progress, etc. according to the required frequency
8. To supervise and monitor Contractors’ site works to ensure compliance with the agreed Sustainable Development policies including but not limited to the use of low-carbon materials, waste management, sewage disposal, dust and air quality controls, etc.
9. To witness site tests whenever necessary
10. To attend factory visits to verify status of material fabrication
11. To conduct defect inspections and T&C (Testing & Commissioning) for the completed works, prepare defect records and to follow up on the timely rectification of all identified irregularities
12. To facilitate the handover of completed buildings to Portfolio Teams or End-users   

Requirements:

1. Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or other relevant discipline 
2. Minimum 15 years’ experience in construction or project management roles, managing large-scale property developments
3. Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership and negotiation skills and able to work well with people at all levels independently
4. High proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese, candidate with English communication skills will be preferential
