This position is reponsible for ensuring rpoducts and components consistenly meet company's quality specifications and requirements by closely monitoring the production process and quality performance of products, suppliers and subcontractors and liaising with the other quality pillars.
Job Responsibilities:
Work proactively with performance results to ensure the supplier quality compliance and to drive for continuous quality improvement for Global Markets:
1. Ensure Nursery furniture products and components meets Quality Requirements by performing pre-shipment inspection, and/or In-Process Audit/Inspection based upon the designated inspection sampling plan, AQL levels, relevant product specification and quality requirements and approval (reference) samples.

2. In the event of product and or process non-conformance as from inspection, audit, quality complaints and or division’s incoming inspection (NCR), QAE Engineer is responsible for following NCR/CAR procedure to work with vendor and other pillars within brand on root cause identification, Corrective and Preventive actions (CAP) driving, approval and implementation verification.
3. Verify, at time of inspection or audit that any product changes such as ECN are implemented in accordance with the agreed timeframe and confirm back to the relevant ECN issuer.
4. Provide support to Engineering and Suppliers for the development and implementation related improvement of processes, such as process control plans, work station instructions and quality control best practices.
5. Teaches and drives supplier Part Production Approval Process (PPAP) compliance.
6. Conduct NPD control plan audit on time.
7. Conduct supplier/sub-contractors’ factory audit based on Process Audit Checklist, ensure the supplier/sub-contactors quality standard meet requirement.
8. Support product development work when necessary.
Job requirements:
1. College degree or above, Technical related major is preferred.
2. Experience with furniture Products is a must; Familiar with nursery or other related furniture, wood products would be a plus.
3. Over 3-years working experience in Quality related field is a must.
4. Good understanding and working experience in Quality assurance and Quality improvement, has knowledge of wood and its design and production, and/or component or assembly manufacturing processes.
5. Knowledge and experience of applying statistical tools and methods to problem solving in a quality or process improvement area.
6. Proficient in English reading and writing. Good spoken English desired
7. Knowledgeable in the use of the Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
