Keep track of the latest market trends, industry dynamics and technology developments to provide strategic technology insights.
Establish and maintain partnerships with research institutions, suppliers and industry experts to drive technological innovation.
Protect the company's intellectual property rights, including patent and trademark application and management.
Manage R&D budget to ensure optimal input-output ratio of R&D projects.
Develop the R&D team, enhance the professional competence of the team and encourage innovative thinking and knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements:
Hold a Master degree or above in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Textile engineering or a related field.
As least 10 years of experience in R&D management in a large FMCG company.
Familiar with production process and product standards of both tissue and personal care.
Have an international exposure, leading academic level and research ability to lead inner technological innovation.
Excellent market insight and product innovation ability.
Possess excellent leadership and team management, motivate the team to achieve goals.
Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with different departments and teams.
Working experience in a Fortune 500 FMCG company is preferred.
