about the job
- Lead the development of new coating products and processes.
- Develop project plans and lead projects from prototypes to product development to scale-up and commercialization.
- Collaboration with project team and marketing to drive innovation and product promotion.
- Conduct hand-on formulation design based on CTQs.
- Involved in coating process and scaling up.
- Build and expand coating technology through careful study of the literature, new scientific discovery, external development and development of intellectual property.
- Write technical reports and presentations to communicate findings to management.
- Develop and maintain a safe and efficient laboratory environment.
qualifications:
- Ph.D. in materials science/polymer science/chemistry or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in the materials/chemical industry, especially in coating & polymer processing.
- Detailed knowledge of polymers, coatings, polymer processing, familiar with characterization/analysis techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
